Everyone's health is in their own hands

According to the UN decision, the theme of Anti-Discrimination Day on March 1 this year is “To protect everyone's health, protect everyone's rights.”

As part of this action, various events are being held in educational institutions of the Kyzylorda region. Their main goal is to prevent HIV infection, draw attention to the problems of people living with HIV, prevent discrimination, stigma, and eliminate factors that impede access to medical services. Events for young people were held in the region, including a meeting of students and teachers of secondary schools No. 171, No. 217 in the city Student House. During the meeting, a specialist from the AIDS center spoke in detail about the routes of HIV transmission and prevention measures, as well as the need to prevent stigma and discrimination. If the rights of people living with HIV are protected, if they freely receive medical, psychological, social and moral assistance, then we will be able to stop AIDS.

However, before looking for a cure for pain, it is best to find a way to avoid pain. It is every person's job to prevent the transmission of HIV. Giving up habits that are harmful to your health is primarily good for you. If we create a healthy lifestyle constantly and effectively, this will become a reliable guarantee of the future,” noted N. Smagulova, a teacher at the AIDS Center.
