The President signed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on health issues".

The law was adopted to support medical professionals. The amendments adopted are aimed at ensuring decent working conditions and recognizing their important role in society.

 What is written in the law? First, medical workers have the right to receive priority places for their children in pre-school organizations at their place of residence

Medical workers have the right to protection from unlawful interference and obstruction of professional activity.

 For the first time, the honorary title "Kazakhstan enbek sinirgen darigeri" was introduced for outstanding medical workers for their contribution to the country's healthcare

 Third, medical workers are exempt from providing excessive reporting and information.

 The law provides for one-time payments in the amount of one hundred times the minimum wage for medical workers with acute shortage of specialties who have arrived to work in rural areas for a period of at least 5 years.

 The law introduces a ban on the sale, distribution and advertising of non-smoking tobacco products, vapes, flavorings and liquids for them. This is an important step in the fight against the spread of bad habits among the population.
