The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan informs that in June the Stopfake.kz resource was created to prevent the spread of false information on the Internet.

Most of the fake news is about medicine and social media scams. According to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the amount of fake information on these topics is growing, especially in the field of medicine, including COVID-19.

Since launch, over 100 rebuttals and explanatory information have been posted on 37 topics.
