Action for rapid testing of development among youth in Kokshetau

On April 9, 2024, at the Panacea student clinic in Kokshetau, he held a rapid testing campaign for young people dedicated to World Health Day.

A landing force of medical workers from the Akmola Regional Center for the Prevention of HIV Infection set up a point for rapid testing and counseling on HIV infection in one of the clinic’s offices.

It should be noted that young people participated in the event with interest, because they could find out their HIV status literally on the spot within 20 minutes. In addition, students could receive consultations from the center’s health workers about risk factors for infection and prevention, the serological period, treatment of people living with HIV, and other issues related to HIV infection.

By the way, young people not only learned their status, but also received basic knowledge on HIV infection issues in a short 20-minute express lecture from a center specialist.
