Advocacy meeting on budget promotion of the allocation of the NHS

On August 01-02, in Shymkent, as part of the implementation of a grant from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, KNCDIZ, together with the KAMEDA Public Foundation, held an advocacy meeting on the allocation of the state social order (NHS).

The meeting was attended by deputy heads of regional HIV prevention Centers, representatives of NGOs and international organizations.
M.Espenova, Executive Director of KAMEDA, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech, who noted the relevance of the topic under discussion and aimed the audience at a productive exchange of experience and the search for innovative solutions.
The participants discussed successes, barriers and obstacles, ways to solve them, as well as the best practices of obtaining NHS in the regions. The discussion concerned all regions where there are AIDS service organizations implementing a grant from the Global Fund.
R. Karabekova, Associate Professor, KMN, founder of the Agabek Karabekov Public Foundation, shared an interesting experience in conducting social entrepreneurship.
At the end of the event, a discussion platform in the Fishbowl format was held, following which conclusions were announced and recommendations were made on the allocation of the NHS for AIDS service NGOs. Separately, within the framework of Fishbowl, existing opportunities for the development of social entrepreneurship by AIDS service organizations were discussed.
