– One of the priority areas of preventive programs is work with young people aged 15-19 years, since in the conditions of the early onset of sexual activity of today's youth, there is an increase in sexually transmitted infections and HIV cases through injecting drug use. Last year, 266 cases of HIV infection were registered in the Almaty region.Among them, 12.8% are injecting drug users, 81.2% - sexually, 0.8% - homosexuals. In this regard, I want to say that people infected with HIV should not be subjected to discrimination and stigma. We must not allow HIV-infected children to be denied admission to school or teachers to be fired, the doctor concluded.

The gynecologist of the Zhambyl district hospital A. Zhylysbek spoke about the dangers of early pregnancy, the narcologist T. Kulimbetov and the psychologist A. Tungyshbaeva focused on the psychological health of boys and girls and gave recommendations on behavioral education.                   In general, the round table was organized at a high level, experts took an active part.
