Meeting of partners to discuss the ROP-24

On February 20, the Kazakh Scientific Center for Dermatology and Infectious Diseases, in partnership with the PEPFAR program, organized a meeting of partners to discuss the Regional Operational Plan (ROP-24) covering activities from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2026.

The agenda included a discussion of the main priorities of the ROP-24 and the budget for the next two years. The meeting made it possible to hear the opinions of experts from the public sector, non-governmental and international organizations on combating HIV infection and to agree on cooperation plans.

ROP-24 will take place in a few days in Manila. The forum will identify the necessary programmatic changes to achieve the UNAIDS 95-95-95 targets. It is planned to consider investments in strengthening public health systems to ensure sustainable responses to HIV.

For 20 years, the PEPFAR program has been helping to increase efforts in HIV prevention, treatment, laboratory support and strengthening the response to HIV, improving the quality of services provided by the population and communities.
