Kazakhstan has received a grant from the GF

As part of the meeting of the portfolio Manager of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, T. Vinichenko, with the Vice Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Country Coordinating Committee V. Dudnik, Director of the Kazakh Scientific Center for Dermatology and Infectious Diseases B. Baiserkin, a Grant Agreement for 2024-2026 was signed.

The grant is in addition to government funding that is directed at HIV programs.

The key areas of the grant are in full harmony with the Roadmap for the implementation of measures to prevent HIV infection in the Republic of Kazakhstan and correspond to the priorities of civil society.

The implementation of the grant activities will be carried out by non-governmental organizations in the project regions that have access to key population groups to provide preventive programs with the support of regional HIV Prevention Centers and coordination of the Kazakh Scientific Center for Dermatology and Infectious Diseases, which is the main recipient of the grant.
