How to reduce the risk of family and improve the welfare and health of women? November 15-17 in Almaty a training session with this story was attended by 37 specialists in social work from all regions of the country.

Organizer of the event - of "Center for Scientific and practical initiative" under the partner support of the Ministry of health of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of the mechanism for combating covid-19 in key groups of the population (grant from the Global Fund for problems with AIDS, Tuberculosis and malaria), participation in the project "umay" (improvement of the reach of women from vulnerable groups of the population for the main services on behalf of the gendarmerie and the entire population in Kazakhstan).

Participants of the training - partners of crisis centers, city lines, telephone services, navigation services on friendly services - increased knowledge and knowledge on issues of gender and gender, developed a strategy for combating gender in 2024.

Coaches: international experts Lyudmila Kim (Columbia University, New York) and Danil Nikitin (Foundation GLOR, Bishkek). The experience of working with women, which is supported by the general population, was followed by: Zulfiya Baisakova (Soyuz crisis centers), Zhanar Abdykalikova (ROO "National Alliance of professional social workers"), Victoria Primak (trans*initiative Alma-TQ).

During the training, participants learned about myths about the gendered population, views of the population, its relationship to Psychology, attitudes, as well as on the correct terms, the stigma of discrimination.
Experts on social work examined the work of the crisis center "Jean-Saya".
