Leadership - to communities!

Under this slogan, a campaign is planned in the country from November 20 to December 1, dedicated to World AIDS Day.

How to conduct an interesting, useful and effective campaign? On October 19, employees of HIV Prevention Centers, representatives of international and non-governmental organizations spoke and argued about this in the CNDDIZ.

Each regional HIV prevention center will host open days with the participation of community representatives, as well as other events. Videos against stigma and discrimination, on HIV prevention and protection measures will be broadcast on social networks and on LED screens of cities.

UNAIDS and the Kazakhstan Union of People Living with HIV are organizing a meeting on CLM (community monitoring) in Almaty. The agenda of the meeting includes presentations on community monitoring by PEPFAR, UNAIDS, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, and information on the national CLM group will also be provided.

As UNAIDS notes: "The slogan "Leadership to communities" will sound not only on December 1. It will become the motto of the events that will begin in November this year, will be the harbinger of the report on World AIDS Day with the same name, which will be published at the end of November, will reach its culmination on December 1, and will continue to sound for a long time."
