Nine HIV prevention campaigns were held in Kokshetau

The last outdoor event was held in the Central City Park. This is the ninth such event in 2023.

On the fifth of October, a mobile rapid testing and counseling center was deployed near the Independence Monument on the square, where everyone could find out their HIV status and get expert advice.

On this day, thanks to the sunny autumn weather, the park was quite crowded, which contributed to the active participation of residents in the action.

By the way, in a little more than two hours, about 10 people were tested for HIV and more than 50 received expert advice on ways of transmission and measures to prevent this disease.

It is worth saying that residents and guests of the city treat such events with understanding and support. At the same time, many of the participants note the importance and necessity of HIV education, as well as a convenient format of the campaign, where you can get information, assess your risks and find out your HIV status "here and now".
