A seminar was held in the Enbekshikazak multidisciplinary district hospital

On September 7, 2023, specialists from the Almaty Region AIDS Center held a training seminar on HIV prevention for the medical staff of the Enbekshikazak multidisciplinary central district hospital.

The doctor of the Department of Epidemiological Surveillance A. Baykaip dwelled on the measures for the epidemiology and prevention of HIV infection, explained the algorithm for the actions of medical workers in emergency situations and the orders of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan. No. 313, 204.

The infectious disease specialist of the treatment and preventive department S. Makhmutova presented the audience with clinical indicators by order No. 211. Then, through a video presentation, the rules for taking blood, storing and transporting biological fluids for the method of IFT testing for HIV infection were presented.

The 93 health professionals who participated in the workshop were offered a test to assess their knowledge of HIV infection, and a question and answer session followed.
