Regional seminar on HIV prevention

On January 26, 2023, on the basis of the Atyrau Regional AIDS Control and Prevention Center, in accordance with the order of the regional health Department No. 13 dated January 17, 2023, a seminar was held among hospital epidemiologists and doctors responsible for AIDS in urban and district primary health care, and private medical organizations on the topic: "The situation and prevention of HIV infection in medical organizational requirements for the preanalytical stage of testing".

 The seminar was opened by the director of the center K. Nurmukhanov, heads of departments of the center discussed issues of testing the population for HIV attached to medical organizations, examination of pregnant women and their sexual partners, collection, transportation, storage of biomaterials, prevention of professional transmission.

The participants were given preliminary and subsequent testing. Those present asked questions and received answers within the framework of the topic. Numberofcovered: 45 people.
