The second Multidisciplinary Academy of Dermatovenerology

On October 20-21, the second multidisciplinary Academy of Dermatovenerology was held in the KNCDIZ as part of the World Psoriasis Day.

The Director of the KNCDIZ A.Abishev welcomed the participants and told about the work of the dermatovenerological service and measures to curb the spread of HIV infection in the country.

Presentations, scientific discussions, master classes from well-known experts were organized for the participants.

As part of the event for World Psoriasis Day, the Janssen campaign held a satellite symposium on "Psoriasis and Genetically Engineered Biological Therapy (GIBT)". Speakers With .Ospanova (KNCDIZ) and A. Dyusembayeva (Center for Dermatocosmetology) introduced the participants to the role of GIBT in the daily practice of a doctor and topical issues of use in the treatment of psoriasis.

The master classes aroused particular interest and many questions from the participants:

 - "HIV screening - rapid testing as one of the methods of epidemic control." G. Akhmetova - PhD, infectious disease specialist of the highest category, clinical specialist ICAP (Columbia University), KNCDIZ.

- "Lymphatic drainage and botulinum therapy". A. Salimova – cosmetologist, director of the "School of facial expressions", Almaty.

Participants of the multidisciplinary Academy of Dermatovenerology shared their work experience, analyzed complex clinical cases, and discussed the solution of professional problems.
