A round table was held in Uralsk

17.08.2022 NGO "Ak Otau Family Center" within the framework of the project "HIV and AIDS Prevention" organized a round table on the basis of the House of Friendship, the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan.

Invited guests: representatives of the regional Department of Education, medical workers, specialists and managers of enterprises, NGOs, activists and members of the public.

The chairman of the NGO "Ak Otau Family Center", A. Iskalieva, in her opening speech outlined the relevance of HIV and AIDS prevention issues in Kazakhstan.

Specialists of the Regional AIDS Center of the West Kazakhstan Region, V. Tsoi and G. Umbetova, told about the complex of preventive and anti-epidemic measures, diagnosis and treatment of HIV infection in the region. The participants of the Round Table took an active part in the debate.
