Seminar on HIV prevention for specialists of medical organizations in North Kazakhstan region

In accordance with the annual plan, on July 27, 2022, a seminar was held on the basis of the North Kazakhstan Regional Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS for those responsible for organizing HIV prevention activities in medical organizations of the region.

At the seminar, the head of the epidemiological department of the AIDS Center, N. Gordymova, spoke about the rules for mandatory confidential testing for HIV infection. Then, Acting Head of the Laboratory Yu. Digtyar spoke on the rules of voluntary anonymous and (or) confidential medical examination and counseling on HIV infection within the guaranteed volume of free medical care in public health organizations.

Also, the participants of the seminar discussed topical issues related to the theme of the event.

After that, certification of specialists responsible for organizing HIV prevention activities in medical organizations of the region took place.
