Seminar for hemotransfusiologists

On June 8, 2022, the Atyrau Regional Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS, pursuant to the order of the Regional Health Department dated May 31, 2022 No. 223, held a regional seminar among hemotransfusiologists of regional and district hospitals on the topic "Prevention of hemotransfusion transmission of HIV infection".

      The event was opened by the directors of the AIDS center K. Nurmukhanov and the blood center Zh. Bakhonov. Also, the heads of departments announced the epidemiological situation of the region and the procedure for testing for HIV infection before hemotransfusion, the organization of immunohematological studies of the recipient's blood, quality control, storage and conduct of blood and its components.

        Participants asked questions within the topic and received answers.  Number of covered: 17 people.
