On the eve of the World Day of Remembrance of People who Died of AIDS, May 12, 2022 at the city cinema named after Gagarin passed a film lecture for students of the West Kazakhstan Higher Medical College.
The movie "PLUS", created with the participation of UNESCO, Massmediateam and with the support of UNAIDS Kazakhstan, was demonstrated.
The film raises the issue of stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV. The picture is intended to show that PLHIV can lead a full life – study, work, make friends, create a family and give birth to healthy children. After watching, the film was discussed, the students actively participated in the film debates (60 people).
