Press conference in Uralsk

Within the framework of the World AIDS Day on November 12, 2021 in the city of Uralsk, specialists of the AIDS Center of the West Kazakhstan Region held a press conference on the topic "HIV: hear everyone".

Representatives of city polyclinics, regional media, students of the Higher Medical College were invited to the press conference.

The speaker, V. Tsoi, informed the participants of the event that within the framework of the World Campaign, a decade is planned to be held in Kazakhstan from November 15 to November 25, 2021. She spoke in detail about the goals and objectives of the Global Campaign, about the events that are planned to be held among the population.

The teacher of the preventive department of the AIDS Center, G. Umbetova, shared plans for information and educational events among students of colleges and universities of the city.

During the press conference, questions were asked about the epidemiological situation of HIV infection in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the West Kazakhstan region, about treatment algorithms and life expectancy of PLHIV, HIV testing methods. The specialists of the AIDS Center answered all the questions of the participants.
