Action among residents and youth in Atyrau

On November 12, at the railway station of the city of Atyrau, an action "Without drugs in the future" was held, organized by the Office for Combating Drug Crimes of the Regional Police Department.
The event was attended by representatives of the Education Department of the Atyrau region, the health department, youth policy, and the AIDS Center.

Baymukhanova M.U., specialist of the prevention department of the Atyrau center for the prevention of HIV infection, noted that this year, from November 15 to 25, a decade will be held in the country on the topic "HIV: understanding everyone", the epidemiological situation of HIV infection, transmission routes and prevention of diseases, registration of infection among drug addicts, the importance of knowing their status, protection of the rights of HIV-infected.

About 100 students and teachers took part in the action, the artists of the regional philharmonic society presented a concert program and the dog handlers of the Atyrau region drug business center presented the search dogs with the work on the search for drugs, information leaflets about the prevention of AIDS and drug addiction were distributed.
