Seminar for business structures in Uralsk

On April 21, 2021 S. Ashimova, G. Kuanysheva, specialists of the Prevention Department of the Regional AIDS Center of WKO, held a seminar for the employees of the security agency BATYS KUZET LLP.

During the seminar, the specialists highlighted some historical facts, provided information on the ways of HIV transmission and preventive measures. They familiarized with the epidemiological situation in the Republic of Kazakhstan and WKO as of 01.04.2021, and also talked about the inadmissibility of stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV. The participants were interested in the issues of the clinical course and treatment of HIV infection.

The seminar was attended by 22 people, information and educational materials were distributed.
