Within the framework of the International AIDS Day, which this year is held under the slogan "Global Solidarity, Shared Responsibility", a competition was held among school and college students on the theme "My attitude towards HIV-positive people" in Nur-Sultan.
In their appeals for a tolerant attitude towards people living with HIV, the guys expressed ideas about eradicating and stigma, and discussed how to stop the spread of HIV infection in the world. During the consideration of applications by the competition commission, the second place was three winners: 1st place - Batalova Zarina, student of the KMIB college course, 2nd place - Saduakas Manas, student 9 «A» of the class of school-lyceum No. 71, 3-Slobodyanyuk Ada, student 9 «B »Class of school-lyceum №1. According to the organizers of the competition, the works of the winners revealed their attitude towards people living with HIV, openly about human rights. The director of the AIDS Center Abdraimov Sabit Bekmagambetovich wished the participants success and encouraged them to share useful information with friends and peers.
November 16, 2020 On the basis of the AIDS Center, a solemn presentation of certificates and commemorative prizes for the participants of the competition took place, and also each participant, regardless of the place occupied, received boxing gloves with a personal autograph of Bakhtiyar Artayev, Olympic champion, UNAIDS special envoy to Kazakhstan "Sport against HIV"
