Seminar for therapists and infectious diseases specialists for the north Kazakhstan

     The North Kazakhstan regional center for AIDS prevention and control organized an online seminar on topical issues of HIV prevention for therapists, pediatricians and infectious diseases specialists, including children's and medical organizations of the region.

       The workshop was held on the Zoom platform. O. Shilkina, head of the Department of medical and preventive work and medical examination of the AIDS center, Made a report on the prevention of HIV transmission from mother to child. She also spoke about the specifics of HIV treatment in children.

     Head of the epidemiological Department of the center L. Bunina in her speech raised the topic of compliance with the rules of mandatory confidential medical examination for the presence of HIV infection of individuals for clinical and epidemiological indications.

     After that, the participants of the seminar moved on to discuss topical issues. Coverage was 49 people.
