HIV Prevention at a Football Match

A football match between Kairat and Levski was held at Turkestan Arena Stadium in the city of Turkestan as part of the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.

To raise spectators’ awareness of HIV prevention, specialists from the Turkestan Regional Center for HIV Prevention conducted information and awareness-raising activities at the stadium.

The specialists provided citizens with information about ways to prevent HIV infection, routes of transmission, and the importance of taking responsibility for their own health.

In addition, visitors had the opportunity to find out their HIV status. Rapid HIV testing was organized for those who wished to take the test. The specialists explained the importance of timely testing and provided the necessary consultations.
