On International Children’s Day, specialists from the North Kazakhstan Regional HIV Prevention Center conducted an educational event for teenagers at the Juvenile Adaptation Center.

Through interactive games, the participants explored the world of viruses, took part in themed activities, and learned how to take care of their health. A special highlight for the children was a fairy tale about HIV infection, after which the specialists provided a clear and accessible explanation of HIV prevention methods.
The participants also created drawings dedicated to protection from viruses and developed their own set of rules aimed at maintaining good health and strengthening the immune system.
At the end of the event, all children received sweet gifts. The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, providing the participants not only with positive emotions but also with valuable knowledge.
“We always strive to talk to children about health in a way that is simple and easy to understand. Through games, stories, and creative activities, children absorb information more effectively and learn to take care of their well-being. Such events help develop healthy habits from an early age and foster a responsible attitude toward their future,” noted Oksana Simukhina, a specialist at the North Kazakhstan Regional HIV Prevention Center.
