The conceptual changes to the Basic Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan are aimed at enhancing the human-centeredness of the state, reflecting the current values and principles of the people of Kazakhstan, and enhancing the effectiveness of the structure of the republic's political institutions.
During the meeting, key provisions guaranteeing citizens' rights to health protection and maintaining the volume of guaranteed free medical care were explained. Particular attention was paid to protecting public health, emphasizing the importance of education and science, including medical education, as the foundation for sustainable development of the state and the formation of human capital.
In total, the first draft of the new Constitution proposes to enshrine the Preamble, 11 sections, and 95 articles.
