“The Right to Know: HIV Without Stereotypes”

Results announced for the journalists’ contest “The Right to Know: HIV Without Stereotypes.”

The Kazakh National Center for Infectious Disease Control (KNCIDC) and the Kazakhstan Union of People Living with HIV, within the framework of an information campaign dedicated to World AIDS Day under the UNAIDS slogan “From Challenges to Change in the HIV Response,” held a national contest among journalists from national and regional media outlets for the best coverage of issues related to HIV prevention and testing.

The aim of the contest was to encourage journalists who contribute to raising public awareness about HIV, promoting early testing and HIV prevention, and supporting responsible journalism that fosters a culture of tolerance and respect for people living with HIV.

The jury reviewed the entries and announced the winners:
