Information about the World AIDS Day appeared on the media facades of Astana

          On December 1, information dedicated to World AIDS Day was broadcast on major media facades in Astana. The event was initiated by the Astana HIV Prevention Center with the support of the Astana Department of Internal Policy.

Information videos appeared on the building's media facade «Alem.ai», on the facade of JSC NC «Kazakhstan Temir Zholy», as well as on the AiLand Ferris wheel. The placement of materials on key visual points of the city allowed to attract the attention of a wide audience and emphasize the social significance of the topic.

           The event is aimed at raising awareness among citizens about the ways of HIV transmission, the importance of regular testing, timely medical care and the availability of antiretroviral therapy.

           Every year, World AIDS Day reminds us of the need for joint efforts by the State, medical professionals and society in responding to the spread of HIV. Such initiatives contribute to the formation of a culture of responsible attitude to health and support for people living with HIV.
