HIV prevention among adolescents

With the beginning of the school year, specialists from the Regional Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS of the North Kazakhstan Region resumed their work among students on HIV prevention.

On September 7, 2021, a meeting was held with students of the 8th grade of the Secondary School N1 of the city of Petropavlovsk.

Oksana Simukhina, sociologist, told schoolchildren about the ways of HIV transmission and how they can protect themselves from infection, securing the information with a thematic video. At the end of the meeting, students were given thematic booklets.
