Live performance of the program "For clarity"

On October 29, 2020, A. Mantakova, Acting Director of the Regional Center for AIDS Prevention and Control of the West Kazakhstan Region, took part in the live broadcast of the program " For clarity" of the TDK TV channel42.

In her speech, A. Mantakova focused on the epidemiological situation of HIV infection in the region, the main routes of transmission in the region, noted the reasons for the growth of parenteral transmission.

The speaker answered questions about the average life expectancy of people living with HIV with adherence to antiretroviral therapy, the specifics of HIV testing of pregnant women, preventive measures taken to prevent infection of newborns.
