"Hansen's disease and dermatoses" - a scientific and practical seminar with the same name was held at KNCDIZ as part of the World Leprosy Day.

This is a traditional event, it is held annually. The emphasis is on expanding the knowledge and skills of the residents of the KSCDIZ in the diagnosis and treatment of leprosy. The doctors of the KSCDIZ talk about the history, treatment tactics, and experience of other countries in overcoming leprosy, and residents present essays.

This year, a landing party of doctors from the Kazakh Republican Leprosarium came to the scientific and practical seminar. These are Sarsenbaev Zhubatkan Bushaevich, deputy head, Abubakir Temirbai Kutzhanovich, head of the medical department and Kozhageldieva Anar Baykazakovna, laboratory assistant. Their performances raised many questions among the residents, because they had the opportunity to get first-hand information.

The master classes aroused particular interest. Each young person was able to participate and add their own practical experience.

Interesting abstracts were presented by the residents on the following topics:

- leishmaniasis,

- epidermolysis bullosa, dystrophic form,

- podological solutions of dermatology,

- vascular disorders and others.

The organizers warmly thanked the participants. Letters of appreciation were presented to the residence of the KRMU, as well as to the active residents of the KNCDIZ.
