Reports from regional HIV Prevention Centers

Two days of active online work. On January 21 and 22, the CDC heard reports from the heads of city and regional HIV prevention centers for 2024.

The reports contained key performance indicators, achievements, and ways to solve problems.

The leaders spoke about the epidemic situation of HIV, including the level of spread of the disease, dynamic monitoring, ARV treatment, and the situation with vertical transmission of infection.

How are the Sustainable Development Goals being achieved and the Roadmap of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan 155 being implemented? The regional leaders spoke about this in detail.

Special emphasis was placed on the implementation of pre-exposure prophylaxis measures, PCR diagnostic coverage for people living with HIV, as well as the allocation of state funding for NGOs.

And, of course, plans for 2025 were discussed at the online meeting.
