Specialists of the regionalAIDScenter, ZhumagulKuzbakova, Aizhan Zhailaubayeva andAinuraMakhanova, visited the Alginskydistricttocarry out preventivemeasuresforHIVinfectionamong the population.

Duringtheworkingtrip, medicalworkers of the Alginskydistricthospital,students of the industrial and Technicalcollege,police officers,employees of the cultural center,aswell as schoolstudentswerecovered.

Duringtheevent, the audiencewasprovided with informationaboutHIVinfection,transmissionroutes,preventivemeasures, and the epidemiologicalsituation in theregion. The issues of maintaining a healthylifestyle,safesexualbehavior, and preventingstigmaanddiscriminationagainstHIV-positivepeople were alsodiscussed.

- "The main objective of these events is to draw the attention of the population, including young people, to the problem of the spread of HIV infection. We want to convey to everyone the correct and complete information about the main methods of prevention and timely diagnosis of this disease, as well as to form a conscious and responsible attitude towards their health among the younger generation," said Aizhan Zhailaubayeva, head of the prevention Department of the Aktobe AIDS Center.
