The health of the nation is a strategy for a successful state

The annual address of the country's President to the people of Kazakhstan is a strategically important document that defines a new stage in the country's development. The sixth paragraph of the Address of the Head of State is devoted to resolving pressing issues related to measures to strengthen the health of the nation and reboot the system of social support for citizens.

Firstly, the formation of a unified package of basic state medical care in tandem with the compulsory health insurance system will significantly improve the quality and accessibility of medical services. Meanwhile, socially vulnerable segments of the population must be guaranteed free access to examination and treatment.

Secondly, the development and implementation of digitalization, in particular, the creation of a unified state medical information system, is in great demand. A unified information system will reduce the burden on medical personnel, will be convenient for managing medical data, will minimize errors and ensure transparency of medical services.

Thirdly, a very important issue is the personnel shortage of qualified health workers. A set of measures is needed here, from expanding the state order for the training of specialists and the size of the allocated grants to awarding honorary titles to professionals in their field, as well as solving their social problems.

It is relevant to introduce the “social wallet” mechanism in order to take into account the real income of citizens when providing financial assistance to families with children within the framework of the “National Fund for Children” project.

The President's Address shows a clear structure, combined with the scale of coverage of problem areas, with already outlined directions for the further development of the country that require effective implementation.
