A competition of propaganda teams on the prevention of HIV infection was held in Shchuchinsk, dedicated to World AIDS Day.
The traditional competition took place in two stages: online and offline, bringing together 17 teams from secondary schools in the Burabay region. The competition lasted about three hours in total, where each team presented information about HIV infection using their creative abilities and creativity.
The organizer of the event was the Arman Center for Children and Youth Creativity in Shchuchinsk, on whose initiative various events are held annually in the area aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Nurlybek Konuspayev, press secretary of the Akmola Regional Center for the Prevention of HIV Infection, delivered a welcoming speech at the event, which has already become an annual event, held in the Burabay region.
“I thank the organizers for such annual initiatives aimed at preventing HIV infection. I would especially like to note the teams that take part in this event, showing their active citizenship in promoting a healthy lifestyle. I am sure that after the competition you will definitely show your bright and colorful performances in your educational institutions in front of your peers, which will help raise awareness and overcome fears associated with HIV among young people,” the center’s press secretary shared his opinion.
According to the results of the competition among rural schools in the region, two teams from secondary school A. won first place. Bayanbay and secondary school a. Atameken, and among the schools in the city of Shchuchinsk is secondary school No. 5.
