Meeting on interaction with NGOs on the implementation of social projects on HIV infection

            On November 7, 2024, within the framework of the World AIDS Campaign under the slogan: «Choose the right path – the path of human rights», a meeting on studying the best practices of NGOs was held in the HIV Infection Center of Astana. Astana in the implementation of the state social order among key population groups.

           The meeting was held with the participation of the head of the Department of therapeutic and preventive work of the Department of Public Health F.A.Tulesheva, manager for interaction with government agencies and non-governmental organizations of the GFATM KNCDIZ project group of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.A.Zhetpisbayeva, specialists of the Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS in Aktobe and Kostanay regions, non-governmental organizations: OUL «Karaganda regional Association «TRUST», NGO «Umit», OF «Our life», OF «Pan 04», NGO «Path of health 1», «Step into the future», «Life in spite», «Human Health Institute».

            At the meeting, the head of the Department of therapeutic and preventive work F.A.Tulesheva, Deputy Director of the HIV Center S.B.Abdraimov, Manager for interaction with government agencies and non-governmental organizations of the GFATM KNCDIZ project implementation group of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.A.Zhetpisbayeva made a welcoming speech - with the presentation «Mechanisms of state financing of social projects implemented by NGOs, elimination of barriers in the implementation of the state social order».The head of the Department of Preventive Work U.R.Saulebayev made a report on the interaction of the Center for HIV Prevention in Astana with NGOs working with HIV and PLHIV.

              Problematic issues, solutions and achievements in the implementation of the state social order among MSM, LUIN and PLHIV and other aspects of the implementation of the state social order were presented in their speeches by the heads of A.Mukusheva, OF «Life in Spite», A.Turymova, of «Step Future», A.Kapasov «Human Health Institute».
