Regional seminar with the achievements of workers of the Akmola region

On March 29 and 30, 2022, an online seminar was held with district and city medical organizations (MO) of Akmola region.

Participants of the event were deputy heads of the Ministry of Defense for medical work, responsible doctors for HIV, hospital epidemiologists, senior nurses and nurses of treatment rooms.

The speakers of the meeting were the heads of departments of the Akmola Regional Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS.

The first to speak was the head of the epidemiological department of the center BateshBapenova, she acquainted the participants of the seminar with the order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 26, 2020. No. KR DSM-6 “On amendments to some orders of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan”.

SandugashBurmaganova, head of the treatment and prevention department, continued her medical education by talking about medical examinations and monitoring the effectiveness of antiretroviral treatment in people living with HIV.

GulnarSheshemukanova, head of the center's laboratory, concluded the speeches by sharing information on the requirements for the collection, storage, transportation of biomaterial and rapid diagnostics for HIV infection.

At the end of the meeting, the speakers answered the questions of the medical workers.
