Regional seminar on sexual integrity in Akmola region

On March 30, 2022, a seminar on sexual integrity among the pedagogical community of the Akmola region was held on the Zoom platform, organized by the Regional Educational and Methodological Office of the Department of Education of the Akmola Region.

Participants - methodologists of education departments, deputy directors for educational work, educational psychologists, social educators, class teachers.

Traditionally, at the beginning of the event, the moderator Inara Ermukhanova, methodologist of the teaching and methodological office, introduced the participants to the purpose of the seminar and introduced the speakers.

The first lecturer, the chief specialist of the department of guardianship, guardianship and educational work of the Department of Education Zhadyra Dildabayeva, focused the attention of the audience on the increase in cases of violations of the sexual integrity of minors in the Akmola region.

Nurlybek Konuspaev, a specialist in the prevention department of the Akmola AIDS Center, shared the epidemiological situation and recommendations for preventing HIV infection in the education system.

Further, the meeting was continued by Ulbala Kenzhetaeva, Deputy Director for VR of School No. 18 named after. S. Zhunusova, Kokshetau, who presented material on values in the upbringing of girls.

An interesting presentation on sexual inviolability and signs indicating a possible sexual abuse of a child that requires the attention of parents and teachers was voiced by Anna Baumgertner, a teacher-psychologist at School No. 11 in Kokshetau.

At the end of the meeting, the results of the seminar were summed up.
