Meeting with volunteers in Uralsk

In Uralsk, on March 28, 2022, G. Umbetova, a teacher of the OC AIDS WKO, held a training seminar at the West Kazakhstan Higher Medical College. The participants of the event were student volunteers of the “MeyirimdiZhurekter” group.

During the seminar, the knowledge gained by students about HIV, the ways of transmission and measures to prevent HIV infection was consolidated during the training. During the training, students considered situations of tolerance, stigma and discrimination against people with HIV.

At the end of the event, students were awarded certificates of volunteers. The event covered 35 people.
