Regional seminar for medical workers on HIV infection prevention

On March 29, 2022, on the basis of the Atyrau Regional Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS, pursuant to the order of the regional health Department No. 81 dated March 15, 2022, a regional seminar was held among hospital epidemiologists and doctors responsible for AIDS of primary health organizations of the city and district on the topic: "Organize HIV testing."

The event was opened by the director of the center K. Nurmukhanov, in the seminar Deputy Director G. Umarova introduced the new order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 26.01.2022 No. 6 "On amendments to some orders of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan". The heads of departments also discussed the issues of testing the attached population to medical organizations for HIV infection, examination of pregnant women and their sexual partners, prevention of occupational transmission.

The participants were tested before and after the seminar, and the questions they asked were answered. Coverage: 38 people.
