A seminar was held for epidemiologists of private medical organizations

On February 17, 2022, a seminar on "Normative legal acts on HIV infection" was held at the Regional AIDS Center with the participation of epidemiologists of private medical organizations.

During the seminar, measures were taken to counteract HIV infection (testing of the population, recipients, pregnant women, emergency situations), medical examination of HIV-infected people, MHI, KPD, prevention of mother-to-child transmission, stigma and discrimination, organization of educational activities for the prevention of HIV infection, laboratory examination for HIV infection. The requirements for the preanalytic stage were presented.

The event was attended by 10 medical workers.

The specialists gave answers to the questions asked and provided practical assistance.
