How to improve the State Social Order

On November 30, KSCDIZ MH RK held a meeting with state, international and non-governmental organizations to discuss the situation with the state social order.

In order to increase the joint responsibility of local executive bodies for the protection of public health, the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 7, 2020 "On people's health and the health care system" (subparagraph 32 of paragraph 2 of Article 12) initiated a provision on granting powers to carry out activities on the formation, implementation, monitoring of implementation and the assessment of the state social order (PSS) in the field of citizens' health protection for non-governmental organizations, including for key populations (CGN).Opening the meeting, Deputy Director of KSCDIZ Irina Petrenko noted:- Today, out of more than 5 thousand nongovernmental organizations included in the register, receiving funding from the state, about 4% or 234 NGOs work in the areas of protecting the health of citizens. Non-governmental organizations are important partners in the prevention and quality assurance of medical services in connection with socially significant diseases.The participants discussed the situation with the PES, the problems that arise during its implementation, measures to improve, as well as a proposal for a memorandum to improve the health status of the population between the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan and regional akims for 2023-2024, to include an indicator on the number of allocated projects for CGN and PLHIV.Work continues!
