First educational academy

On November 18-19, the first educational academy of interdisciplinary dermatovenerology with international participation in the framework of the World Psoriasis Day was held in Almaty in a hybrid format.Organizer - KNTSDIZ MH RK together with PA ODDL, MAPO and KazNMU named after S. D. Asfendiyarov.

Since 2004, thanks to the initiative of the International Federation of Psoriasis Associations (IFPA), World Psoriasis Day is celebrated around the world on October 29.

The purpose of this day is to draw attention to the disease, educate not only patients, but also ordinary people about its features, which means improving the social adaptation of patients with this dermatosis, stimulating research in this area.The Academy has become a platform for discussing such issues as the latest advances in the treatment of psoriasis, laboratory diagnostics, histology and dermatoscopy - as the main assistants of a dermatologist today, allergology, COVID-19, leprology and much more.
