Uralsk hosted a press conference dedicated to the World AIDS Campaign

On November 12, 2020, the WKO Regional AIDS Center organized a press conference dedicated to the World AIDS Campaign. The press conference was attended by correspondents of the regional and city media, specialists from the Drug Enforcement Administration, city polyclinics, the Regional and City Department of Education, the Higher Medical College, and the Crisis Center for Victims of Domestic Violence.

The press conference was opened by A. Mantakov, and. about. Director of the OC AIDS. She told those present about the World AIDS Campaign from November 16 to 22, 2020 in Kazakhstan, about the theme of this year "Global Solidarity, Shared Responsibility".

Khafizova, head of the department of preventive work, made a presentation on the epidemiological situation in the region.

The press conference was continued by G. Umbetova, teacher of the OC AIDS and presented to those present information about the ongoing and planned activities in the quarantine regime.Shaukenev, a specialist at the Department of Treatment of Drugs of the WKO DP, spoke about the work done in 9 months of 2020 to counter the spread of drugs.
