Why are we talking about HIV?

Within the framework of World AIDS Day at the Kazakh-Russian Medical University on November 19, an online forum for resident doctors of all specialties “Why are we talking about HIV?” Was held.

The event was prepared by the residents of the second year of study at the Department of Infectious Diseases. The forum was attended by over 50 people.

The purpose of the forum is to increase knowledge on the problem of HIV infection and form a tolerant attitude towards people living with HIV.    The audience was presented (in video format) with basic information about HIV infection, prevention of infection and the problem of stigma and discrimination of people living with HIV.
