April 12, 2021 S. Ashimova, G. Kuanysheva, specialists of the Prevention Department of the Regional AIDS Center of the WKO, as part of the plan of joint activities to conduct information and educational work among the military personnel, held two seminars for soldiers of the BATIS Regional Command of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the topic “HIV infection you need to know! Epidemiological situation on HIV infection in the RK and WKO as of 01.04.2021 ".The purpose of the seminar is to familiarize servicemen with the problem of HIV infection, ways of transmission and methods of prevention. Experts presented the epidemiological situation of HIV infection in the Republic of Kazakhstan and WKO as of 01.04.2021.The event involved 67 people, information and educational materials were distributed.
