Seminar for the WKO patrol service

On April 1, 2021 V. Tsoi and S. Ashimova, epidemiologists of the Prevention Department of the Regional AIDS Center of the WKO held a seminar for the patrol police battalion of the WKO PD on the topic “The epidemiological situation of HIV infection in WKO. Ways of transmission and measures to prevent HIV infection ”.

The specialists provided information on the epidemiological situation in the region, on the routes of transmission and measures to prevent HIV infection.

During the seminar, the police were interested in methods of express diagnostics for HIV infection and the algorithm of actions in emergency situations.

The event involved 37 people, distributed information and educational materials.
