Information hours in the field of education WKO

In the period from 16 to 19 November, the specialists of the OC AIDS, within the framework of the campaign against AIDS, carried out a number of activities in the field of education. Information hours on HIV prevention were held at the Ural Technological College "Service", the Higher Engineering and Technological College, and the International College of Digital Technologies, Law and Architecture. The seminars were held on the Zoom platform, as well as on the Instagram social network, using the live broadcast method.

The purpose of the events is to inform about HIV-infection issues, to develop students' skills of responsible behavior.

During the seminars, G. Umbetova, teacher, E. Khafizova, head of the department of preventive work, explained the goals of the World AIDS Campaign, talked about the ways of HIV transmission, the epidemiological situation, and also highlighted the issues of avoiding stigma and discrimination against individuals living with HIV infection.

In total, the events involved 213 people.
